Austin Bocce League

We're planning to build courts and start a league right here in Austin.
Bocce is an amazing sport that combines luck and skill with friendly competition and networking.

Our first site will be at Timmermann Park in Manor, which is right next to Austin on the east/northish side of Austin.
Eventually, we'd like to inspire individuals and businesses to raise the funds to build perhaps a dozen 4-court sites in our parks. Ideally, a central
site with at least 8 courts for larger tournaments and yes - the US Bocce Open! I'm trying to get this put into Walter E. Long Park.

Teams are made up of 6-12 members. This gives people flexibility over an 8-12 week season. Perhaps two, maybe three Seasons in a year, plus some tournaments and special events.

I'm thinking we'd play from 5 pm to 8 pm during the week from March thru June. And a Second Season in August thru November. We can also play mornings and afternoons. Which days/times are best for you?
