Mission Statement
The Napa Valley Community Theater is committed to the Performing Arts as an important ingredient in the education of our youth. Our purpose is to provide a forum for insight and learning by our youth and adults, working cooperatively in the performance of plays, workshops and musicals.
Objectives
- To serve the need for a drama program for our students and expand the theater arts programs existing in our community.
- To foster the principles of team building and self-esteem, particularly between age groups ranging from children to seniors.
- To develop the dynamics of communication and dialogue.
- To reinforce the spirit of community, to draw together a group of people who wish to perform for the pleasure of those who wish to attend, and to encourage everyone to participate in the process.
- To offer a forum for original works.
- To have fun as we participate in the emergence of various talents in ourselves and our fellows.
